We are looking for a Night Shift Manager to join the Hemel Hempstead Evri team, sharing our passion and drive to delight our customers. Join the growing Evri Hemel team! Our Night Shift Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Night shift at the Depot. You will lead teams of Supervisors, Night Loaders, Sorters, and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites to smaller geographic areas for final delivery. The Night Shift Manager is fully accountable for shift performance and proactively seeks ways to improve cost, service, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Managing all areas of the night warehouse sortation efficiently and cost-effectively. Ensuring depot key KPIs are achieved, such as sortation compliance and vehicle departure times. Managing the budget to meet service levels, including productivity, labor costs, overtime, and agency usage. Leading, coaching, and developing shift supervisors. Adhering to legal requirements of the ‘O’ Licence. Essential skills and experience required: Transport knowledge, skills, or experience, including regulations. Management experience leading and managing a team. Ability to work independently in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience working in fast-paced logistics. Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels. At Evri, we believe our growth depends on our people.
