Responsibilities:Able to dig strip foundations Excellent eye for finished works, such as topsoil, levelling muck, type 1, crush, and road formation Capable of lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes, drag boxes, and trench sheets Read and understand levels and drawings Recognize the need for dig permits before breaking ground Experienced working around live services and employing service avoidance techniques Carry out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks, and communicate service requirements effectively to site management Perform essential greasing, basic maintenance, and keep machines clean and tidy Show respect for plant and maintain it to a high standard Be proactive and manage time effectively Knowledge of GPS machine control is advantageous Hold additional CPCS/NPORS tickets and experience operating equipment such as telehandlers, dumpers, and rollers Reliable and punctual Work well with other trades and support timely project delivery Have the right to work in the UK Cards & Qualifications Required:CPCS/NPORS* Excavator +/- 10t Tracked CPCS Lifting Ops/NPORS* Excavator as Crane Safety Critical Medical (Site Specific) Additional/Desirable Cards & Qualifications:CPCS/NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper CPCS/NPORS* Ride on Roller/Road Roller CPCS/NPORS* Attachments; Quick Hitch *Please note that to comply with client requirements, only NPORS cards affiliated with CSCS and carrying the CSCS hologram are accepted.
