As a member of the sales team, the sales professional is responsible for new business development, account implementation, and maintaining and deepening customer relationships within a defined geographic territory specific to LTL business.Essential Functions:Develop new business by identifying potential customers, growing revenue, conducting background research, analyzing customer needs, and developing LTL solutions.Maintain existing business by understanding the customer's supply chain through research, customer interaction, and collaboration with sales and support teams.Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and other partners to ensure a seamless customer experience and a holistic view of customer needs.Manage and execute key success factors to meet quarterly goals.Leverage technology tools including internal systems, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office Suite.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or two (2) years of B2B sales experience, including two (2) years in LTL sales or FedEx B2B sales. Ability to travel overnight is required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience in transportation or LTL sales preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Salesforce.Demonstrates initiative, organizational skills, discipline, and adaptability in a team environment.Mid-level negotiation skills to offer fair, competitive market-based pricing within company parameters.Ability to collaborate effectively with the local operations team.Preferred Qualifications: B2B Sales Experience, LTL/Freight Experience.Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $51,975 - $98,250. Compensation depends on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.Additional Details: This is a face-to-face sales role with a hybrid work schedule.
