We are working with one of the Southwest's largest and most reputable generator hire specialists to recruit an experiencedLGV Fitterto join their busy transport and engineering department in Bristol. The Role: As an LGV Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a varied fleet including LGVs, vans, Land Rovers, forklifts, trailers, and specialist equipment. You'll also be part of a call-out rota for vehicle breakdowns, with additional allowances provided. Key Duties: Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, trailers, and mechanical handling equipment Schedule and record vehicle servicing in line with Operators Licence requirements Attend breakdowns and provide out-of-hours cover on a rota basis Source vehicle parts and manage costs effectively Transport and refuel generators and ancillary equipment as needed Assist with yard operations, including loading/unloading Maintain a clean and safe working environment, in line with company health & safety and ISO 9001 procedures What We're Looking For: Essential : Light & Heavy Vehicle Parts I & II City & Guilds (or equivalent) Essential : Proven experience as an LGV Fitter Preferred : Lorry Loader Certification GBP37,130 annual salary 23 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service) Company pension scheme Private medical insurance Life assurance and wellbeing support Excellent development and progression opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
