Nurtured Care Servicesare looking to recruit for Waking Nights Children's Residential Care Worker to join our team. Do you want to be part of a devoted team of care workers working in one of our beautiful Ofsted Registered Children's homes inTelford? We provide a safe, stable and caring environment for children and young people to make their home. Our children and young people’s ages range from 8 up to 18 years old and they have often experienced high levels of trauma, neglect, and crisis in their young lives, resulting in them experiencing complex challenges. What is preferred for this role? At least 12 months experience within a children’s residential setting. Preferred - Driver with full UK driving licence What will be expected from you as a Waking Nights Residential Care Worker? Creating positive relationships and meeting the needs of our children and young people Using your experience and skills – further developed with our support and training, you will assist with the care of our children and young people An excellent understanding of safeguarding An ability to articulate and ensure comprehensive record keeping What will you receive in return for being a Waking Nights Residential Care Worker? ·- Competitive hourly rates of pay · - Free initial enhanced DBS check* ·- Funded accredited qualifications earn whilst you learn and upskill your career! ·- Extensive paid attendance to our Induction Training. ·- 24-hour on call support ·- Company Sick Pay (Once probation passed) ·- Contributions to your pension ·- Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
