An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join NHS Talking Therapies Southampton Steps2Wellbeing on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. The service offers a range of evidence-based talking therapies for common mental health problems. The service provides various Step 2 and Step 3 psychological therapy options, including Low and High Intensity CBT, Psycho-educational groups, and Counselling. We are seeking both full-time and part-time Team Administrators. The full-time role involves working Monday to Friday, with Saturdays and evenings on a rota, while the part-time role is for 22.5 hours per week, including evenings and Saturdays on a rota. The successful candidate will ensure a confidential, efficient, and comprehensive administrative service for Steps2Wellbeing clients and staff. Flexibility, creativity, experience working to deadlines, initiative, and confidentiality are essential. The role requires working one evening shift per week (12-8 pm) and Saturdays on a rota basis. Training will be provided in the office, after which the role will involve a mix of home working and office cover in Southampton. This position is ideal for individuals with skills in managing high call volumes, handling distressed clients, and providing excellent customer care. The candidate should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced in busy office environments, capable of working accurately under pressure while maintaining a calm and courteous manner. Employment requires a Standard DBS check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid certificate.
