Working for a leading M&E contractor, you will play a critical role in overseeing electrical subcontract packages on one of the industrys most technically advanced developments.Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of on-site electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with project safety protocols in collaboration with the project safety teamLead and enforce quality assurance (QA) procedures alongside the QA/QC team to maintain project standardsSupport the management of the project schedule, tracking progress and reporting in line with overall project milestonesOversee and monitor all costs associated with the electrical scope, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor variationsProvide hands-on leadership for the daily site operations, ensuring smooth coordination of resources and delivery targetsDirectly manage and align the electrical site team and disciplines towards common project goalsOversee and coordinate subcontractor packages, tracking progress against schedule, validating manpower levels, and holding weekly coordination meetings with all package ownersImplement and manage the snagging/punch list process, ensuring timely input from supervisors and support to the QA/QC managerEnsure accurate daily reporting of labour hours for both direct and subcontracted personnelChair and lead regular meetings including internal project reviews, coordination sessions, engineering updates, and handover discussionsAssist in project close-out activities, including handover documentation (O&M Manuals, Safety File, QA records), final account support, punch list resolution, and demobilisation of materials and equipmentRequirements:Minimum of 10 years experience as a Construction Manager within the electrical contracting industryProven track record managing large-scale projects, ideally within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environmentsStrong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and design-to-delivery workflowsCapable of managing subcontractor performance, coordinating multiple workstreams, and driving schedule complianceRelevant trade background or third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building ServicesExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsFull, clean drivers license
