Job Opportunity: Wound Care SpecialistJoin our team dedicated to improving patient outcomes through specialized wound care. We have openings within our Wound Healing Service, focusing on Hard to Heal wounds, working with patients across various settings including home, residential/nursing homes, and clinics. Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based wound healing treatments and advice. Manage clinical day-to-day operations of the wound healing service, including assessment, care planning, and evaluation. Supervise and develop staff within the service. Collaborate with other healthcare services and agencies involved in wound management. Promote patient involvement and ensure the service is responsive to their needs. Utilize electronic communication effectively. Make direct referrals to vascular surgeons and manage complex wounds independently, including treatments like Topical Negative Pressure Therapy and Maggot Therapy. Assess, implement, and evaluate care programs for patients with wound management issues. Apply compression bandages and dressings skillfully.
