Site Manager/ Assistant Site Manager Location: South East London (Office based in Westerham, Kent, TN16 1BT) Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 dependent on position and level of experience. Contract: Full time, permanent. Since 1985, Hyhurst Group has been investing in and developing residential and mixed-use properties across South London. Site Manager/ Assistant Site Manager – About the roles: We are looking for a confident and capable Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager to help oversee our residential construction sites. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience who can support our team in day-to-day operations while also working independently when needed. Responsibilities : * Supporting staff in daily site operations and delivery * Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed across the site * Helping manage subcontractors, materials, deliveries, and equipment * Monitoring build quality and progress against the programme * Assisting with site documentation, inductions, and inspections * Acting as a reliable person on site What we need from you: * Previous experience in a site management role with a residential contractor on multi-unit residential developments in excess of £5m * SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and full UK Driving Licence * Solid understanding of site logistics, build stages, and subcontractor coordination * Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills * A proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to solve problems on site * Excellent time management and being able to meet tight programmes * Full UK Driving Licence Why Join Us * Key roles in a secure, growing property development group * Career progression and increasing autonomy * Varied residential projects across South East London * Professional, collaborative team environment * Opportunities to make a tangible impact in a lean, focused business If you're an experienced professional looking to progress your career and work with a respected developer and progressive company, we would love to hear from you.
