We recognise our colleagues for their unique skills, we encourage learning and we and embrace diversity.About the role We are looking for someone to join our Private Clients Division in the Southwest and Wales Region; based in either Newquay or Plymouth (your choice).You will be joining a busy team of 12 who are based in various offices throughout the region, carrying out all aspects of personal lines insurance. You will administer Household, Motor, Residential Property, Second Home and Travel polices from inception to renewal, including mid-term policy adjustments. You will complete and offer all renewals and new business within the FCA guidelines. Youll build relationships with customers and provide an ongoing service identifying and understanding the customers needs and requirements. Youll also ensure that all compliance requirements are recorded and reported as expected and develop your own technical knowledge to achieve/maintain competence. Youll maintain your own training records, keeping them updated as you go.About youIdeally, we are looking for someone with Personal Lines Insurance experience, working with Insurers and our clients face to face and over the telephone, with knowledge of the Acturis Software system. You will have strong customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. You will also have the ability to use your initiative and work to deadlines, whilst also being an active member of the team.Youll have strong planning and organisational skills, personal lines insurance technical knowledge, negotiation skills, general insurance experience and customer service skills.We are happy to consider reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process due to a disability, health condition or other factor, and we will ask if there are any such requirements if you are invited to an interview.
