Thrive Group is pleased to collaborate with our client based in Frome, currently seeking aMulti Skilled Engineerto join their team on a permanent basis.What you will be doing:Providing technical expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant equipment, including reactive and PPM tasks using electrical, control system, and mechanical skills.Acting as an effective liaison between Operations and Engineering teams.Maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, including welding tasks as necessary.Supporting site contractor activities.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product development and operational processes.Conducting regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.Assisting with the installation of new equipment and production lines.What you will need to succeed:Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.Experience in a production environment.NVQ Level 3 or equivalent through a hands-on engineering apprenticeship with proven experience.City & Guilds 2391 qualification.Being a strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset.Desired Skills:Experience in an FMCG or high-volume continuous production environment.Knowledge of PLC systems.What you will receive in return:Salary between GBP35,000 and GBP45,000 per year.40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.Employee discounts.Free parking on-site.Health & wellbeing programs.What you need to do next: If interested, please email your CV to sarah@.
