Job summaryWe are currently looking to appoint a Clinical Administration Officer (CAO) to work in the Surgical Division working 30 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract.The successful candidate must be customer focused, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential requirements together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately.To be successful in this role you will possess English and Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent), excellent IT skills and relevant office/secretarial experience.Knowledge of medical terminology, customer care and previous NHS experience are also desirable.Please note this role does not meet the Home Office criteria for the Trust to be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship, any applications that require sponsorship will not be considered.Main duties of the jobThe main emphasis of this role is to provide a range of administrative support to Consultants, medical staff and/or other senior members of the Divisional teams.
