Detailed job description and main responsibilities Facilitate all internal communication processes in relation to clinical effectiveness and assurance activities, ensuring all enquiries are effectively managed and successfully resolved within a prompt timescale. Liaise and effectively communicate at all levels using written, oral and electronic methods to publicise activities; using tact and sensitivity to deal with difficult issues as required. Liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders to enable the delivery of a timely and comprehensive clinical effectiveness and assurance programme. Provide high level administrative support to the Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance team, by assisting with aspects of activities including project design, data collection, analysis, programme evaluation, report preparation and dissemination of outcomes, as instructed and in line with the grade and nature of the post. Carry out ad-hoc analysis of data as requested by staff throughout the Trust ensuring an understanding of the data provided and advising of its appropriate use as needed. Develop and sustain systems and processes to allow the Trust to monitor and measure its assurance against external standards including CQC registration. Support the Clinical Effectiveness Co-ordinators, Assurance Manager and Head of Clinical Effectiveness and Assurance in co-ordinating responses to internal and external stakeholders e.g. mortality outlier alerts, clinical audit outlier notifications, CQC enquiries. Maintain high data quality standards by ensuring that data entered onto Trust and external systems is accurate, complete and up to date. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of efficient office management systems/procedures to enable the function to deliver efficient and effective services. Manage time and workloads across the different aspects of the role, ensuring internal and external deadlines are met.
