Join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team to maintain and optimize technologies within Amazon's global warehouse and delivery network. Purpose of the JobWe seek motivated, customer-focused professionals to serve as Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring safety compliance, conducting preventative maintenance, and maximizing equipment availability through continuous improvement. Shift PatternThis role involves working in non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends. ResponsibilitiesModel and promote health & safety best practices. Demonstrate SME-level knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Coach and mentor technicians on shift. Ensure high equipment availability through troubleshooting and prioritization. Support continuous improvement across the EU network. Maintain good relationships across all organizational levels. Understand OEE and equipment performance metrics. Manage contractors effectively. Train operational teams on equipment use. Support on-site management and escalate high severity issues. Manage escalations to subcontractors as needed. Oversee critical spare parts inventory using EAM systems. Coordinate and execute planned preventive maintenance for MHE equipment. Basic QualificationsCompleted a full engineering apprenticeship or hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, with automation experience. Experience working in MHE environments. Solid knowledge of PLC-based control systems. Experience with CMMS for proactive and reactive maintenance recording. Understanding of statutory compliance requirements. Proficient in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher. Preferred QualificationsProven leadership and influencing skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Experience managing multiple contractors. Experience working across multiple sites.
