It has started construction and is seeking private investment. When completed, it will supply electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, aiding Britain in achieving Net Zero by 2050.We are recruitingAssistant Project Managersto support critical phases across our delivery programmes.Responsibilities As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support Project Managers in delivering systems, structures, and components within a nuclear power plant programme. You will gain hands-on experience, ensuring successful contract execution and developing your skills in a collaborative environment.We offer a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days in the office at Copthall Avenue, reflecting the current project phase. Join us and help shape the future of nuclear energy!Who you are We seek Assistant Project Managers capable of supporting project delivery in complex, fast-paced, and regulated environments, ideally with experience in nuclear energy or similar industries.The Skills:Background in mechanical, chemical, or similar engineering for large-scale industrial plants.Achievements in engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.Experience managing multidisciplinary teams to meet project targets.Leadership skills across diverse backgrounds.Technical understanding to specify requirements and provide guidelines.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to complex environments.Proficiency in analytical software like Microsoft Excel and Power BI.Desirable:Previous experience in nuclear industry or high-safety environments (Oil & Gas, MoD).Engineering or Mechanical engineering background.Formal project management qualifications.If you thrive in high-stakes environments and are eager to deliver complex projects, we want to hear from you!A full job description is available upon application.#DestinationNuclear#SZCjobsQualifications Additional Information Join Sizewell C and help Britain reach Net Zero emissions by 2050.
