Salary to 32,000Bristol location Standard hours and hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)Generous benefits package on offerThe successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and organisational skills and will operate in a dual role split between secretarial work and secretarial coordinator tasks and duties. Secretarial Coordinator Key Responsibilities:Proactively manage inboxes, post, and diaries for Partners and fee earners, including meeting bookings, travel arrangements, detailed itineraries, and expense claims Prepare key documents and correspondence to include formatting bids, pitches and client facing documents etc. Oversee daily workflow across the group, reallocating tasks to ensure balanced capacity and effective supportAct as the first point of contact for work allocation, secretarial performance, absences, and operational issues (e.g. sickness, holidays, overtime)Monitor team absence and sickness, conduct informal return-to-work interviews, and maintain accurate records in Team SeerProvide performance feedback using secretarial competencies and flag any concerns to the Secretarial ManagerAssist with recruitment of secretaries and Team Administrators, and support trainee / vacation student moves with Group HeadsSecretarial Coordinator Skills & Requirements:At least 7+ years experience working as a secretary within a professional services or legal environmentPrevious supervisory experience would be advantageous Able to build and maintain constructive relationships with people at all levelsClient service orientated approach and a genuine interest in learning management skills
