Job Description

A great opportunity for the management of CCSs Domestic Electrical Division, responsible for all Social Housing Electrical Contracts across the south of England. Managing up to 20 electricians and sub contract electricians to deliver EICR, remedial works, re-wires, Smoke and CO Alarms system installations, Electrical heating installation, minor maintenance and Renewable energy/ventilation works.Apply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Duties:Maintains forecasted workflow and targeted revenue for Electrical Department.To deliver a high quality service to the client and their customers, having respect for all individuals and meeting the challenges presented.Ensure compliance with all legislation and manage and promote best working practice in keeping with CCS operating protocol and all technical requirements.Provide departmental reporting accurately and effectively weekly for the Electrical department to the Head of Heating & Electrical.Ensure continuous education of staff and lessons learned, also to aid in upskilling and training of operatives on site.To promote CCS image and engage with customers to promote CCS quality standards and education of customers.To work with Administration teams and other managers to ensure compliant service to customers, management of CCSs Protean management system and compliance with all operational guides and internal processes department wide.To manage, coach and improve supervisors, Surveyors and QC engineers reporting directly to you.To liaise with other mangers and take part in internal meetings, chair and hold team meetings and briefings to take part in all internal training and workshops.To be responsible for safety on site overall and good practice at all levels on all work streams.To manage all clients, any escalations, technical issues above supervisory level and all costs and invoicing values from fixed rate SORS and identify variations and chargeable work weekly. Including ensuring close down of works and accurate pricing weekly.Liaise and work closely with Electrical QS team on any certification issues or reporting required or identified or issues arising from on site auditing of your operatives.Responsible for engaging and attending all staff briefings and company functions.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Delivery and leadership of TBTs monthly as a minimum with all electrical engineers, surveyors and supervisors.Skills/Qualifications:General competence in the given trade.NVQ 2 or equivalent in Electrical Systems/AM2.17th Edition Wiring Regulations.18th Edition Wiring Regulations.Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.Experience Required:Proven experience in Management.Experience of working within the Social Housing sector on installation projects and maintenance contractsExperience of working with social housing clients/contracts directlyExperience using a CRM or Management systemA clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.Personal AttributesYou pride yourself on truth and share knowledge for the greater good.You are committed to improvement and are an active team participant.You accept responsibility for your role and promote ownership in others.You have a desire to be successful and achieve goals, whether small or large.You are flexible to meet business needs and actively work towards expanding your knowledge and developing your skills.We are an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applicants no matter what their ethnicity, gender, sexuality, beliefs or nationality.TPBN1_UKTJ
