We are looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of our in-house repair service ensuring an excellent standard of repair services for our tenants. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of responsive repairs-ensuring that tenant requests are handled efficiently, works are completed to the highest standard, and budgets are effectively managed. Leading a dedicated technical workforce, you'll be at the forefront of service transformation, working with the repairs team, stakeholders and contractors. Key responsibilities include: * Managing the day-to-day business operations across the service area covering the customers repair journey including front and back-office functions, site operations, contract management and health and safety. * Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures. * Maintaining cost controls and budgets. * Maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and supporting tenant satisfaction measures. * Responding to complaints. * Managing and motivating staff building effective teams. * Ensuring compliance to all legal regulations. * Maintaining and developing service indicators and key performance Indicators, identifying shortfalls, bottlenecks and driving continuous improvement. About you: We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can take ownership of the responsive repairs service and drive continuous improvement, so to be competent in this role it is essential that you have extensive experience in managing similar services including repairs and maintenance services, along with: * Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage budgets, implement policies, and meet organisational goals. * Demonstratable leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. * Proven experience of directing internal operational teams in the completion of front-line activities including repairs. * Having strong financial acumen, including experience in managing large budgets and financial appraisals. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * A sound understanding of legal and health 'safety compliance, particularly in relation to CDM Regulations * A relevant degree or qualification in Building Management, Surveying, or similar (minimum RICS HNC level). * A full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites Benefits: * Hybrid Working - We are an organisation that puts people first and understands how important employee wellbeing is.
