Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home Are you a passionate and experienced leader ready to take the next step in your career? Seed of Light is looking for a Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. You’ll work alongside the Registered Manager to lead staff, uphold care standards, and create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment. What You’ll Do: * Lead and supervise staff, promoting child-centred care. * Ensure compliance with Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations & Care Standards. * Support daily operations, staffing rotas, budgets, and inspections. * Champion positive outcomes and emotional well-being for young people. What We’re Looking For: * 2+ years’ experience in residential childcare (Team Leader/Senior/Deputy). * Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent). * Strong leadership, communication, and safeguarding knowledge. * NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (desirable).
