WPRG have an opportunity for HGV Class 1 Drivers to on a work on perm basis for our client based in Bedfordshire.Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.Our client based in Bedford are one of the UK's premier hire company. You will be responsible for the delivery and collctions of plant equipment (mainly telehandlers) from customers sites which will be recorded on a PDA system. You will be responsiblle for the delivey of plant equipment to sites and you must ensure all products are delivered and collected safely and of the quality expected.Your HGV Class 1 role involves: Delivering and collecting plant equipment and logging all activity on a PDA system (including photographing machinery on delivery and collection)Ensuring Tacho readings are up to date and rest breaks are taken in accordance with the driving regulationsVehicle checks to be completed and recorded daily, minimum of 20 minutes per truck and trailer per day,Help increase our NPS (Net Promoter Score) by providing an excellent standard of professionalism and customer service at all timesComplying at all times with the Health and Safety Regulations in regards to the loading and off-loading of Plant EquipmentMaintaining cleanliness of the exterior and interior of the vehicle, providing a professional image to our customers at all timesUsing the Driver app so the customer can be notified prior to delivery and collectionIdeal Candidate:The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:LGV Licence category C + CEDriver DIGI CardUp to date CPC trainingStrong communication (written and verbal)Demonstrate a full and varied knowledge of all plantGood spoken and written EnglishConfident and flexible attitudeSmart appearanceAble to go the extra mile and able to step up for customers and teammates.Ability to stay cool under pressure; manage your emotions, bounce back stronger, and show resilience.Exceptional professional conduct with colleagues and customersDesirable: CSCS CardCompetent in the loading and unloading of heavy plant equipmentSalary: 15.00per hour (DPO) - 40,950 per year Overtime paid at time and a quarterFull Time Information: Hours Full-Time, 52.5 hours per week / 06:00am -17:00pmPlease only apply is you have 1 years class 1 experience.This is a permanent job.WPRG Ltd is an Employment AgencyTPBN1_UKTJ
