About the Company Our client is one of the UK's leading contractors in the field of Energy Generation & Management Solutions. They are a 'one stop shop' renowned for delivering sustainable, energy strategies from design and implementation to operation, maintenance, and fully funded solutions. The Opportunity They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager (Building Services) to lead a mechanical installation & upgrade (£15 million M&E) at a hospital incorporating de-steaming, heat pumps, boiler house replacement etc. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where your expertise will directly contribute to impactful, environmentally-conscious energy solutions. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the mechanical project from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. * Oversee the design, implementation, and performance of mechanical systems across the project. * Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring communication is clear, responsive, and professional throughout the project lifecycle. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to ensure quality standards and compliance. * Monitor project progress, address challenges proactively, and ensure all reporting and documentation is maintained accurately. * Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld across all stages of the project. About You * Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services or the renewable energy sector. * Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and building services. Some electrical awareness is a plus. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. * Commercially astute with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports effectively. * Detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
