Business Support Assistant; Stockport; 6-month contract; £16.00ph paye; 25 hours per week; Inside IR35 We are current recruiting for a part time Business Support Assistant to provide administrative support to 3 directors, as well as carrying out additional duties. The role will be working for defence client based in the Stockport area , for 25 hours per week working Monday to Thursday, there can be sone flexibility on how these hours are arranged. Duties will include Site Support Supporting the Site Director and Deputy Site Director including (but not limited to) Site meeting attendance, meeting pack preparation, taking actions, distributing and chasing. Incident Management Team support POC for site queries Managing the site inbox Desk Allocation Site Events (BBQs, visits etc.) Site communications via Teams Channel Facility actions- liaising with Mitie Stationary cupboard stock management and procurement A chance to become creative and put forward ideas on how to enhance the site for all that work there. Procurement of PPE, branded company clothing, stationery and items for site (1-2 hours a week) Blueshop Amazon Arco iProc Industry procurement when covering leave MMS Inbox cover- Department Admin Complex Travel SDA Administration SDE Access Request Meeting Room Requests Arranging catering/hospitality Booking in Site visitors New Starter/leavers Programme Security Instruction (PSI/SAL) Letters of Intent (LOI) – annual task Support Autonomy Delivery Director Visitors to L3H General administration and point of contact for help Skills and Experience Previous PA experience of providing business support at Director or Leadership level, in a busy business environment Demonstrates business awareness, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact effectively, courteously and professionally both within internal and external customer communities People Management Skills Advanced skills in MS Office Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point) Excellent spoken and written English Able to prioritise workload and complete work within agreed timescales to the expected standard Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated and enthusiastic Have outstanding organisation skills. Ability to meet/stretch deadlines and demands of the team, and to be proactive in finding solutions to problems. Ability to ‘think on feet’ and make last minute decisions working within pressurised situations Able to deal with people at all levels of the organisation.
