As a Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Dispensing Assistant (ACDA), you will play a vital role in our popular in-store pharmacies. Customers expect warmth, friendliness, confidence, and ease when discussing personal health issues. Your responsibilities include checking the accuracy of dispensed medicines, verifying patient details, medication type, dosage, labelling, and packaging. You will report medication errors or incidents promptly, provide clinical checks for safety and appropriateness, conduct audits, supervise pharmacy assistants, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, you'll support patient services like blood pressure checks and smoking cessation schemes, promote pharmacy services, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
