£130 day rate + £20 daily for fuel - Requires your own large van Transporting tower scaffold and waste collection We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties * Operate a van to transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery. * Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as required. * Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety. * Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and delivery confirmations. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. * Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organisation. Qualifications * Valid commercial driving licence is essential. * Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. * Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) regularly. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage. * A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving. * Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
