Role: 1st Line Support Technician Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to £30K annually – full time (plus the opportunity to earn extra through out of hours work) Hiring for a 1st line support person to come onboard as a part of a young, driven team within a niche market that is taking over the industry! We’re working with a Nottingham based company that has partnered with and set sail to places all over the globe, from the US and Canada to Germany and eventually all over Europe. They’ve been around for a long time, and by the looks of it, I don’t think they’re going away anytime soon! They’re growing. Fast. And they’re looking to fill their support team with people that are driven the same way. The team is young at heart, full of energy, and ready to take on the day, every day. You’ll be playing a vital role in reducing time on hardware issues and escalating the nerdier faults where a few extra hands are required. Someone who’s working in a fast-paced environment, handling technical issues and raising tickets like you were at a funfair. Maybe you’ve been at the same company for a couple of years, and as things start to slow down, you’re looking for a place that’ll ignite the spark in you once more. Communication skills are key within this role as you will be the first point of contact for their customers so creating a good impression is vital. You may not have worked in a support environment previously but within a customer service environment where you are used to a large number of queries coming through.
