Job Title: Sales Engineer - Marine Equipment Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + £6,240 Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits Location: Croydon (Hybrid Working) Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Engineering / Marine / Defence Overview: Manpower is working with a leading global engineering business to recruit a Sales Engineer to join their Marine Division. This is a key role bridging technical sales, customer engagement, and workshop support, with a focus on marine propulsion systems and developing MOD-related accounts. Key Responsibilities: Respond to technical sales enquiries and prepare quotes and proposals Act as the primary contact between the sales team, workshop, and customers Manage and grow customer accounts, particularly in the MOD and defence sectors Attend shipyards, exhibitions, and client sites as required Collaborate with internal teams in engineering, production, and logistics Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in marine engineeringEssential Skills & Experience: Proven track record in sales within the marine or mechanical engineering sector Strong technical knowledge of marine propulsion or onboard systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to liaise with both technical and commercial stakeholders Comfortable with occasional travel and being site-based in Croydon Familiar with CRM software and proposal/tender processes Benefits Include: Salary up to £75,000 (DOE) £6,240 annual car allowance Bonus ~8.3% 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Company pension scheme (6% employer / 3% employee) Life insurance (3x salary) Private medical cover (after qualifying period) About You: You're a commercially astute engineer or sales professional with experience in marine equipment or defence-related sectors.
