In this hands-on role, youll provide expert technical compliance support to both internal and external engineersmaking a real impact across a range of high-value industrial projects.This senior position would cover around 4/5 engineers on a site based role.What Were Looking ForWere looking for a skilled professional with a strong foundation in DSEAR and ATEX regulated industries, ideally a time-served apprentice who holds CompEx 0104 or 0106 certification. You should be confident advising on technical compliance and passionate about maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert guidance on DSEAR and ATEX complianceDevelop and improve internal policies and QA measuresConduct and review hazardous area classifications and risk assessmentsSupport project teams and engage with specialist contractorsLead site audits and act as a client-facing technical representativeDeliver training to both internal and external stakeholdersOversee QA of handover documentationMonitor KPIs and assist in setting department goalsSkills & Experience:In-depth understanding of DSEAR, ATEX and BS EN 60079/80079 standardsExperience with Process Safety Management, LOPA, SIL, and Ex ia documentationStrong analytical and risk assessment skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesCommercial awareness and strong time managementFamiliarity with industry codes of practice (e.g. EI15, IGEM)Essential Qualifications:CompEx 0104Minimum HNC in Electrical EngineeringRight to work in the UK and ability to travel within the EUDesirable Qualifications:CompEx Ex0506, Ex12, Ex14City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & TestingTPBN1_UKTJ
