Project Planner – MEP Package | Outside IR35We’re currently seeking an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of a large-scale construction project, focusing on the installation of a complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) package.This is an outside IR35 contract position offering a day rate of £400–£450, ideal for a skilled planner with a background in MEP systems and large infrastructure builds.Key Responsibilities:Develop, manage, and monitor detailed project schedules for the MEP package using Primavera P6.Integrate MEP timelines with the overall construction programme.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to capture accurate activity durations, logic, and resource allocations.Provide progress updates, critical path analysis, and delay/impact assessments.Lead change control and provide early warnings to mitigate risk and ensure delivery milestones are met.What We're Looking For:Proven experience planning MEP packages on major construction or industrial projects.Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource & cost loading, and earned value analysis.Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.Knowledge of NEC contracts and project controls best practices is advantageous.Details:Location: Site-based or hybrid (location disclosed upon application)Day Rate: £400–£450 (outside IR35)Contract Length: Initial 8 months with likely extension
