This role involves handling Road Freight Customs Clearance from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure all shipments comply with UK and international customs regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess import and export customs declarations for Road freight.Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and customs requirements.Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies.Manage customs documentation and duty/VAT calculations.Provide customer updates and resolve customs-related queries.Key RequirementsPrevious experience as a Customs Clerk in freight forwarding or logistics.Strong knowledge of Road freight Proficiency with customs systems, in particular CDS, Destin8, DescartesUnderstanding of commodity codes, duties, VAT, and trade agreements.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Only apply if you have the relevant experience for this role!
