ABOUT THE ROLE As a Customer Relationship Manager at Barchester, you’ll help us build the reputation of our homes to ensure they’re successful. Your responsibility will be to support teams across care homes in our South Division to increase their occupancy, with a focus on private occupancy. You will do this by enhancing their reputation for quality care within local communities and showcasing their strengths to prospective residents and their families. Day-to-day, your tasks may include strengthening the home’s web presence, improving the enquiry management process, or liaising with General Managers (GMs) to ensure quick responses to pre-admission assessments. You will also develop strong sales and marketing teams within the homes, helping them utilize knowledge about local community groups, and oversee the organization of events and activities targeted at these groups. You will conduct customer satisfaction research to identify areas for improvement in the conversion process and provide feedback to the wider leadership team, along with weekly updates on live enquiries and community engagement. As a Customer Relationship Manager, you will connect us with residents needing quality care and support, making a meaningful difference in their lives. ABOUT YOU You should have a proven track record in sales and marketing, managing enquiries, and networking to succeed as a Customer Relationship Manager. Experience in delivering multi-site marketing activities and achieving targets is essential; experience in the care and health industry is preferred but not required. A self-motivated individual with a creative mindset, you should be able to work effectively as part of a multi-functional team. Empathy towards customers experiencing emotional and challenging journeys is crucial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. This role involves remote work with regular travel, so a willingness to travel and a full driving license are essential.
