Be part of a fun, people focused culture where everyone looks out for each other, pulling in the same direction, finding a great balance between work and personal life.The role would suit a medical writer who enjoys ‘hands on’ writing, working in a collaborative close-knit team, you will have an established leadership team to support your growth and development and no pressure to be involved in sales/BD, the role provides good visibility in a mid-sized company, and the chance to work on global projects.Much of the companies work is repeat business and organic growth - HEOR publications/manuscripts being a key deliverable this new hire will contribute.Role scope:Draft, revise, and finalize scientific materials, including:Peer-reviewed manuscriptsAbstracts for scientific conferencesScientific posters and slide decks for podium presentationsTables, figures, and data visualizationsDemonstrate an ability to articulate complex information clearly and conciselyCorrectly evaluate and interpret source documents and demonstrate an ability to develop appropriate tables and figuresProvide copy editing, proofreading, and quality control reviews for other writers and researchersCollaborate with internal researchers and client teams to ensure scientific accuracy using protocols, study reports, results tables, and other source documents to develop outlines and draft documentsRemotely participate in client-facing project meetings as neededMethodically incorporate author and reviewer comments to improve the accuracy and clarity of the documentsAddress, revise, and clarify conflicting and/or ambiguous comments from authors and reviewersPerform relevant online searches of the clinical literature and summarize the findingsCoordinate and complete journal/abstract submissions that adhere to submission guidelines and client templatesContribute to internal thought leadership projectsQualificationsMSc or other advanced degree in a life science, public health, or health economics-related field2+ years of experience in a technical writing role as a professional or studentStrong attention to detail, clarity, and scientific accuracyEffective interpersonal/verbal communications skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Proven experience writing for the pharmaceutical industry, public health, RWE, epidemiology, and/or HEOR is strongly preferredReach out now for more info! greg.harris@
