We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated and experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join us working part time on a diverse range of projects within a supportive and dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates, cost plans and budgets for various projects.Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.Manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.Provide expert advice on procurement and contract management.Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance.Requirements:A degree in Quantity Surveying.Personable and comfortable meeting Clients, Contractors and other Consultants.A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficient in cost management software and tools.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.A full UK driving license is essential for site visits and client meetings.What We Offer:Competitive freelance rates.Flexible working arrangements.Opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.Supportive team environment.If you meet the above qualifications and are looking for a freelance opportunity in North West England, we would love to hear from you!
