Your new companyHays are pleased to be working with a public sector organisation to appoint an HR Business Partner to join their team on a temporary basis.Your new roleAs an HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering expert HR advice, managing employee relations cases, and driving attendance and well-being initiatives.Provide professional HR support on grievance, disciplinary, and attendance mattersAdvise managers on HR policies, employment law, and best practicesLead on employee relations and well-being strategiesCollaborate with stakeholders and trade unionsSupport HR projects, policy development, and learning initiativesWhat you'll need to succeed1. Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management or equivalent* Level 7 qualification2. Hold current professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development at Associate member (Assoc CIPD) or above.OR can demonstrate the ability to obtain this within 1 year of commencement.3. Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Human Resources function providing professional advice and guidance to senior management on complex employee relations matters.4. Significant relevant HR experience in at least 4 of the following 5 areas:Managing AttendanceManaging Grievance and/or Dignity at work casesManaging Disciplinary casesDeveloping HR Policy & ProceduresDelivering HR projects in support of business objectivesFully conversant with employment legislation relating to employee relations.6. Can demonstrate:Excellent planning and organisational skillsAbility to work accurately under pressure of multiple deadlinesStrong interpersonal and influencing skillsStrong customer orientationExcellent attention to detail7.
