Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician/ Newly Experienced Plumber  Location: London, Ealing Salary: £27,000 - £30,000  Contract Type: Social Housing Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm We are looking for a Water Hygiene Technician to become a valued member of a 50 year old, award winning contractor. The Company offer a full facilities service working with local authorities and housing associations to deliver domestic and commercial gas services, electrical services, building management services, and hot & cold water services to domestic, private, commercial landlords and industrial property owners. Joining as part of comthe companies commercial maintenance team, the Water Hygiene Technician will be working on various water contracts carrying out legionella tasks on both mains fed and stored hot & cold water systems for our clients. Part of this role also involves carrying out minor works on water services as and when required. Roles & Responsibilities: To collect samples from sealed heating systems in accordance with BS8552 and carry out on-site analysis using either a drop test kit or photometer •To carry out water temperature monitoring 'sampling, cold water tank inspections, clean & disinfection of cold water storage tanks. • Shower cleaning & descaling including other outlets • Carrying out minor plumbing works where required • Providing same-day service reports as required via a PDA • Maintaining a healthy relationship with the clients • Willing and able to work as part of a team and independently showing initiative dealing with situations and completing tasks Qualifications Required  NVQ Plumbing Plumbing Skills and understanding Full Driving Licence  Excellent Communication Skills To be considered for the position, discuss salary further and in particular your current work situation, please email a copy of your cv across to (url removed) or call Breeze Mitchell (phone number removed)
