Description Job Description Overseeing the flow of materials within the organisation. Ensuring smooth operation of procurement and supply chain activities. Implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinating with various departments to manage inventory levels. Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstock and out-of-stock situations. Evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships. Monitoring and reporting on supply chain performance to senior management. Profile A successful Materials Planner should have: Proven experience in materials planning and procurement within an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong communication and stakeholder skills. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers. The ability to forecast supply and demand and prevent overstock and out-of-stock situations. Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills.
