This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking practice, where you'll play a key role in supporting a broad portfolio of clients across both compliance and advisory work.In this position, youll also work closely with the firm's portfolio management team, contributing to the effective oversight and development of long-standing client relationships. This role offers a clear path for progression and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review year-end accounts and tax returns for a mix of individuals and businesses.Ensure timely submissions to HMRC and Companies House, maintaining accurate records.Keep up to date with changes in tax and accounting regulations.Deliver tailored tax and business advice to help clients improve efficiency and protect assets.Guide clients through business transactions, restructures, and financial decisions.Recommend systems and software solutions to streamline operations.Act as a trusted adviser and day-to-day contact for your client portfolio.Work closely with colleagues across departments to provide joined-up client support.Support, coach, and develop junior team members.Play an active role in business development, including networking and lead generation.Identify ways to enhance client experience and improve internal workflows.Experience:Fully qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent), with a solid grounding in accountancy practice.Around 5-10 years experience managing accounts within a professional services firm.Strong working knowledge of UK compliance standards and accounting frameworks.Background in advising owner-managed businesses across a range of commercial matters.Confident communicator, capable of building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.Sharp problem-solver with strong commercial awareness.Comfortable working with accountancy software, tax platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.Highly organised and able to juggle competing priorities in a busy environment.Detail-focused with a commitment to delivering quality work.Benefits:A competitive salary that reflects your experience and expertise.A well-rounded benefits package, including private healthcare, pension contributions, and more.Access to a company car scheme to support your role on the move.Clear opportunities for growth, learning, and long-term career development.A friendly, team-focused culture that values collaboration and support.Flexibility to help you balance work and life effectively.
