They work with a wide range of public and private sector businesses and have achieved a reputation for quality, care, and reliability, which is second to none.Due to continued success, we are working in partnership with this business to expand the Customer Engagement Team in the Birmingham area and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career within the security and communications industry. You will need to have excellent communication skills and experience working in the security sector.The role involves: - To manage a number of key contracts within the business To secure and maintain strong, professional, and high-quality relationships with the customer base To gain and maintain a strong, strategic understanding of our customers needs To act as the voice of the customer within the business To gain and maintain a strong relationship with manufacturers, distributors, and consultants within the security sector To work with customers to produce solutions that meet their operational and strategic needs, acting as their trusted and professional guide To survey, design, and quote for the installation, service, and maintenance of a range of life safety systems with a strong focus on CCTV To work with the wider team to support the submission of tenders and bids for new business To work with the Head of Customer Engagement to produce commercial forecasts.Key experience/qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills with experience of providing a world-class customer experience Experience of working within the Security Sector Strong knowledge of complex CCTV systems, associated transmission, and networks Experience of designing or installing security, life safety, and connected systems (including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire) Experience in constructing build sheets and quotations Experience in submitting competitive tenders and bids.Skills and Capabilities: Understanding of integrated and networked systems Good written and verbal communication skills are essential Good commercial understanding Excellent customer service skills IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft software packages.
