Inspired Learning Group (ILG) is seeking an exceptional Group Head of Marketing & Admissions to shape and drive our group-wide marketing, admissions, and commercial strategy across a dynamic portfolio of schools and nurseries.About the RoleThis is a senior group-wide leadership position for someone who thrives on both strategic direction and hands-on delivery. Youll be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and admissions strategies to drive student recruitment, retention, and brand growth across all ILG schools, including nurseries, prep, and through schools. The role also oversees commercial income generation through summer camps and facility rentals. The postholder will provide strategic direction, hands-on leadership, and operational oversight, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across the group and a seamless, positive experience for prospective families and commercial clients.What Youll Do:Lead and deliver the marketing, admissions, and commercial strategy for all ILG schools, ensuring brand consistency and high standards.Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, PR) to boost enquiries, raise brand awareness, and support student recruitment.Manage the admissions process from initial enquiry to enrolment, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for families.Supervise and develop a high-performing team of Marketing & Admissions Managers.Analyse campaign and admissions data, reporting on performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.Support commercial activity, including summer camps and facility rentals, maximising income and aligning with our brand values.Collaborate with school leaders, internal teams, and external agencies to deliver results.Manage budgets, track spend, and report on ROI.What Were Looking For:Significant experience in a senior marketing and/or admissions leadership role, ideally in education or a multi-site service organisation.Proven track record delivering successful student recruitment and retention campaigns.Strong digital marketing, brand management, and project management skills.Experience leading teams, managing complex projects, and working with external agencies.Hands-on experience with CRM systems and the principles and practice of effective customer relationship managementExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Commercially astute, creative, and results-driven.Awareness of GDPR, safeguarding, and compliance in marketing and admissions.Desirable:Experience in the independent schools sector.Knowledge of commercial income generation in education (e.g., summer camps, facility rentals).Marketing qualification or relevant degree.Why Join ILG?This fantastic new role would be ideal for someone looking for the next step in their marketing career and comes at a genuinely exciting time to join Inspired Learning Group.
