Step into a role that's more than a job, be part of shaping the future of healthcare.The RoleThe Financial Controller will take a leading role in overseeing all financial operations at the Bristol clinic, ensuring robust financial management, strategic planning, and compliance. Acting as a key business partner to the General Manager, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial insight, driving performance, and supporting the clinic's long-term growth and operational success.Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of financial management for the clinic, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audit coordination.Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to the General Manager and senior leaders, supporting business planning and decision-making.Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely management accounts, maintain robust financial controls and risk management frameworks, and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.Monitor clinic performance, manage cash flow and cost control, and proactively identify opportunities to drive profitability and efficiency.Mentor and develop the finance team, foster a high-performance culture, and act as the key finance contact for operational leaders, translating financial data into actionable insights.Lead or support finance projects and process improvements, including system enhancements and business case development.About YouFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance roleDemonstrated experience in financial leadership, ideally within a clinical, healthcare, or multi-site environmentAdvanced technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory complianceProven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and influence senior managementStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Experience managing and developing finance teamsCommercially astute with a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting business operationsWhat We OfferA senior leadership role with direct impact on clinic performance and growthClose collaboration with the General Manager and operational teamsOpportunities for professional development and career progressionA supportive and dynamic working environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageZachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
