The daily responsibilities of a dental nurse include:Reception duties, including answering phones and greeting patientsHandling patient queriesProcessing paymentsBooking appointments and follow-upsSterilising and preparing equipment for dentistsManaging patient recordsSupporting patient wellbeing and enhancing their dental experienceCleaning dental areas, including chairsManaging stock of equipment and suppliesAdditional duties may include supporting dentists and senior team members to provide effective patient care.Qualifications and Working HoursThis role is supported by a Level 3 advanced apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds, delivered nationwide through blended e-learning accessible from anywhere in the UK.Upon completion, you will receive a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3, recognized by the General Dental Council for registration as a dental nurse.Functional Skills in English and Maths Level 2 are required unless exemptions apply.Working hours are within the practice's opening times, which are:Monday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pmTuesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pmWednesday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pmThursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pmFriday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pmSaturday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pmSunday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm#J-18808-Ljbffr
