Part time (24-32 hours) – Fixed Term until 31st March 2025Exciting opportunities are available for 2 experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic, and motivated Stop Smoking Practitioners to support those with mental health conditions and those from vulnerable groups. This role will contribute to the provision of our Stop Smoking service, delivered across Staffordshire.Main functions of this role include:Supporting the Stop Smoking service to deliver and develop the programme throughout Staffordshire.Delivering face-to-face and virtual appointments for eligible clients, using behaviour change techniques to promote a healthy lifestyle.Collaborating with Community Stop Smoking Practitioners, NHS Trusts, Sexual Health, Drug and Alcohol services, and other stakeholders to increase referrals and reduce health inequalities.Candidate requirements:Ability to work flexibly and under pressure to meet service targets.Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health, vulnerable groups, and healthcare settings.Experience with one-to-one or group service delivery.Commitment to high-quality, user-centered service delivery.Knowledge of risks and harms of smoking among mental health and vulnerable groups.Ability to deliver training on smoking cessation and mental health/vulnerable groups.Understanding of public health policy and health promotion related to long-term health conditions.For more information and to apply:Visitsend your CV and supporting statement date:9 thJune 2025Interviews:Week commencing 16 thJune 2025Note:We reserve the right to close this advertisement early if we receive a high volume of applications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
