Housing Support Worker Rochdale 37.5 hours pw OR 18.75 3 months+ £17 Umbrella ph Our client, a charity in Rochdale is looking for a Housing Support Worker to work across Rochdale to support vulnerable adults with complex needs such as those facing homelessness and substance misuse issues. They have two posts available for 37.5 hours working 9am-5pm Monday - Friday They also have a part-time position for a 18.75 hours position. Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker include: * Managing a caseload of clients with complex needs * Conducting home visits * Liaising with Local Authorities housing teams surrounding new applications * Supporting in the maintenance of the client waiting list * Assessing new clients support needs * Ensuring clients understand, and abide by their tenancy agreements * Enabling clients to access employment, education and training opportunities * Safeguarding clients and reporting any concerns * Monitoring tenants rent accounts and supporting them to maximise their income * Promoting clients to live independently and build lasting life skills Essential criteria of the Housing Support Worker include: Enhanced DBS ​​​​​​​UK Driving license and access to own vehicle Experience within a similar supported living environment
