Company DescriptionJob DescriptionWarehouse Shift Manager - Night Shift £42,094 per annum (£17.99 per hour) plus additional shift pay (10% between 18:00 - 22:00 & 20% between 22:00 - 06:00) plus a great range of benefitsPredominately Sunday to Thursday with the occasional Fridays. In this role and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll be a critical member of the operational management team, ensuring that the warehouse is running safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with colleagues in key departments within the depot such as the distribution team, to contribute to the overall success of the operation. With full shift responsibility and leading 2 team leaders and 15 colleagues across all aspects of the warehouse operation, you'll engage, motivate, and lead your team managers to ensure productivity targets are achieved and high levels of customer service are delivered. Maintaining a safe & friendly working environment for all employees in line with company & site policies & procedures and manage direct reports in a variety of areas.You will also be responsible for key people management processes including absence, return to work meetings, annual leave requests and planning, probation & performance reviews. You will also look to coach and develop your team ensuring that training needs are identified, supported and reviewed frequently. To join us as a Warehouse Shift Manager you will have previous supervisory or management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse operation. You'll have good commercial awareness and strong analytical skills which you'll use to make decisions with a strong focus on results. You will have the people skills to get the best out of your team and enable their development.
