Quality Inspector (Mechanical)The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.Job Location: Poole , DorsetJob Type: PermanentSalary: Up to 16.83 per hour (35,000 per annum)Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday Thursday 8am 5pm & Friday 8am 2.30pmA well-established manufacturer based in Poole are looking to recruit for a Quality Inspector (Mechanical) to join their team.Working within a team of 2 you will be undertaking first offs & production inspection for small batch work.Duties will include;Inspecting of first offs & finished products to engineering drawingsCreate & logging of NCRProducing and filling of inspection reportsOverseeing the Junior Inspector to ensure day to day tasks are completed, provide any support & trainingThe successful candidate will possess;Previous experience of mechanical inspectionExperience of using measuring equipmentincluding bore-mikes, thread gauges, shadow graph, tali-surf, tri-mos, micrometres, height gauges.A background of working to tight tolerances (tightest tolerance is 1000 of an inch plus or minus)Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standardsAbility to read and work from complex manufacturing drawingsFor more information on this position, company or to apply for this role, please either contact our recruitment team on 01202 686000 or send your CV.Those who have the right skills and experience, our aim is that you will hear back from us within 24 hours but due to the high number of applications we are receiving at present, we are unable to respond to every application individually so if you do not hear from us within 3 days, please assume that your application at this stage has not been successful.
