Location: London (Hybrid) Employment Type: 6-Month Contract Rate: 450/day IR35 Status: Outside IR35Were looking for a highly experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join a leading consultancy on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical, high-impact projects for enterprise clients, contributing your expertise in security architecture, risk management, and incident response.Key Responsibilities:Lead security assessments and provide expert guidance on risk mitigationDesign and implement robust security controls across systems and networksSupport incident response and threat detection activitiesCollaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on secure design and deliveryAdvise clients on best practices aligned with industry standards and frameworksRequirements:Proven experience in cyber security engineering, ideally within consultancy or client-facing rolesStrong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure), network security, and SIEM toolsFamiliarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and other security frameworksExcellent communication skills and the ability to manage senior stakeholdersSC clearance (or eligibility) is desirableContract Details:Day rate: 450Outside IR356-month initial contractLondon-based with flexible hybrid working
