The placementswe offer provide a varied and tangible learning experience that can be applied to roles in thefuture and support the university learning experience.Learn about production within a luxury fashion brands production department. Gainknowledge into seasonal fashion fabric and trims through assisting in day-to-day tasks whilstgaining experience of working in a fast paced luxury environment.Responsibilities:To support the production team across the seasonal production process to ensure ontime deliveriesUpdating of internal systems with seasonal information and fabric trackersCommunicate daily with factories and suppliersAssist with the organisation of production and the delivery of fabrics and trimsAssist with the monitoring and collating of seasonal fabrics, trim and label stocksOrganise fabric, barcode and trim send outsAssist with the ordering of Care LabelsHelp keep the fabric archive updated and accurate with the filing of new fabrics andmonitoring of previous stock.Assist with the delivery of seasonal fabric and trimsAdmin support with production and fabric and trims shipments packing listsCollate and send visual overviews of styles to each factory each seasonCollate and send seasonal fabric swatch references to factoriesAdmin support with pre-shipment approvalsEssential Skills & RequirementsGood knowledge of Word and ExcelClear communicationExcellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasksIdeally have knowledge in garments and fabricsKeen interest to gain experience in production, and fabric and trim purchasing andlearn about the day-to-day tasks within this department.Please ensure you have fully read and understood the requirements before applying for this position.
