Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a client based in the Burton area that are looking for a commercially minded finance professional to join their FP&A team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing a new planning system. You’ll also lead the finance element of capital investment projects, working closely with wider business teams.This role involves developing financial models, producing meaningful analysis, and partnering with senior leaders to support strategic decisions. You'll also be responsible for preparing regular reporting packs that provide clear insight into business performance against budgets and forecasts.The business can offer a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flowSupport the rollout across the businessManage FX modelling in line with hedging policiesProvide short- and long-term cash flow forecastsDeliver financial insight across operational areasWork with senior leaders to improve cost centre reportingLead financial aspects of capital projects, from budgeting through to post-implementation reviewSupport monthly results analysis and reporting with core and commercial finance teamsProduce monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholdersHelp build the FP&A function, including mentoring future team membersIdeal CandidateExperience in FP&A, budgeting, or financial modellingStrong Excel skillsThe ability to work cross-functionally and influence othersExcellent attention to detail and a proactive mindsetA relevant finance qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
