A specialist manufacturer in Abingdon is looking for an experienced assembler with wiring and soldering experience to join their growing production team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in mechanical and electrical assembly, who is also confident working alone or as part of the team in a hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities:Carry out wiring of systems and products using electrical drawings and technical instructionsParticipate in the mechanical assembly of components and full systemsFostering a positive and productive work environmentIdentify areas for improvement, and liaise with supervisors to resolve issuesEnsure all health, safety, and quality control procedures are followed Skills & Experience Required:Proven experience in an assembly role, with strong wiring and hand soldering skillsComfortable using hand tools and power toolsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or engineering environmentExcellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret technical drawings and instructionsEffective communicator, able to coordinate across departments and with senior managementProactive, organised. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production assembler looking to join a company that values precision, collaboration, high-quality work and it’s staff.Salary offered is between £24,500 - £26k depending on experience, a quarterly company performance bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
