The RoleThe successful candidate will be a vital part of the R&D team, based in our London lab. The role involves developing and optimizing bioprocesses for cultured meat production, focusing on creating market-leading pet food products. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, execute, and analyze experiments to develop scalable manufacturing processes Implement in-process analytics to optimize animal cell production Collaborate with team members for project development, troubleshooting, and meeting milestones Present findings at team meetings and plan experiments accordingly Perform laboratory duties ensuring smooth operations and uphold company values QualificationsMaster's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field Experience with animal cell culture, including bioreactor operation Experience in process development and scaling up animal cell cultures (preferred) Knowledge of cell metabolism and serum-free media systems (preferred) Additional SkillsResults-oriented with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and in teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel Additional InformationSeniority Level: Entry level Employment Type: Full-time Job Functions: Engineering and IT Industries: Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Biotechnology#J-18808-Ljbffr
