Title: Group Financial AccountantLocation: LondonSalary: 80KRef: 13545Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.The Opportunity:Finatal is partnering with a Tier 1 Private Equity consortium backed Professional/Consumer services business in their search for a Group Financial Accountant reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager. The role will include liaison with senior stakeholders within Group Finance, UK and overseas finance teams.Key Responsibilities:Financial ReportingConsolidate and review Group month-end submissions (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, KPIs).Prepare month-end consolidation entries and annual consolidated accounts under IFRS.Produce monthly/quarterly reporting for investors, lenders, and rating agencies.Manage year-end reporting and act as key liaison with external auditors.Maintain and update Group transfer pricing models and accounting policies.Internal ControlsStrengthen Group-wide financial controls and balance sheet reconciliation processes.Support internal audits and promote best practice across regions.Ensure compliance with Group financial policies.Deliver training and support on technical accounting and systems.The Requirements:Qualified Accountant (ACA or overseas equivalent, ideally Big 4)Experience working with, or for, a Group Finance function in a large, complex, global organisationCapability to understand accounting systems. Prior knowledge of JDE, Cognos or TM1 would be advantageous.Strong knowledge of IFRS technical accounting 'strong excel skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly-growing environment, with the capacity to multi-task over several on-going projectsWell organised and conscientious, with good attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be willing to work 5 days a week in London office
